Thailand - Part 2

by - Tuesday, February 25, 2014

As I'm leaving the country tomorrow it seemed a fitting time to give you all an update; that and it's been another two weeks.

Note that there was one more photo added to Thailand - Part 1

Phi Phi (take two) – Day 16 to Day 24

I took a second hike up to the viewpoint and over to the other side with a new friend.

Eventually I moved to a hostel on the beach

Then to a hotel room for the last night

The boat back to Phuket drove by a few well know sights– so many in fact that I worried I had gotten on the wrong boat...

Leaving paradise – Fuji X-M1 | 1/125 | F14 | iso200
Fuji X-M1 | 1/125 | F11 | iso200
... we got there eventually.

Khao Lak  – Day 25 to Day 26

I caught up with one of the wonderful people I met out on Phi Phi for my last weekend in Thailand
Resort Crashing – Fuji X-M1 | 1.5" | F5 | iso1250
Fuji X-M1 | 1/1.3 | F6.4 | iso2000
A set from the day exploring that ended with me falling down a waterfall– the water put my camera out of action for a day.

Not the waterfall I fell down, that one was bigger

Once my camera started shooting without any trouble I returned to taking photos, just in time to give you nightmares.

Sleep tight; there's a hatchet that way ➙
Caught the night bus back to Bangkok

Yangon  – Day 27

Bangkok  – Day 27 to Day 29

In short, there was a hiccup with my flight out to Myanmar– entirely my own fault– which resulted in my booking a flight to Cambodia for tomorrow.
I had thought about Malaysia, but following a blind spin surrounded by guidebooks for SE Asian countries, my finger had pointed at Cambodia.
Who doesn't love a little spontaneity in life?

Note: I apologize for the lack of camera data, if anyone really misses it I'll add it.
